The newly installed DN400 swing check valve makes a lot of noise when the pump is running.
Is the flow rate from the water pump pulsating? Or perhaps the water flow is not able to sustain the weight of that stop plate, resulting in frequent opening and closing?
Looking at the structure diagram of the swing check valve, it’s possible that the bolts are loose, or that the unstable flow causes the valve disc to open and collide frequently.
Then it must all be issues related to design and selection, right?
When it stops operating, the middle flange can be opened manually and turned a few times to see where the problem lies
As a supplementary note, it is necessary to conduct a water retention test before installing the new check valve; some of the sealing surfaces on these new valves contain paint particles
