Take a look at the bearings of the submersible pumps and vertical pumps in our unit
When the pump is in operation, butter was added in excess; this butter came out from the oil seal on the bearing housing. Driven by the pump shaft, the butter formed a liquid-like ring that moved around the pump shaft. The No. 2 lithium-based oil used was in a semi-solid, semi-liquid state before it was introduced into the bearing housing. The oil seals on both bearing housings are damaged.

Too much butter has been used, and the oil seal no longer seals properly; it’s advisable to check it once a week and add more butter as needed

This pump was repaired in January 2017 and has been in use ever since

I usually add fuel when the equipment is running
