I hope everyone can help by providing references and sharing their insights. Our material mainly consists of wood chips with a size of 2-3 mm, organic solution, acid (with a pH of around 3-4), and water. The overall mixture is similar to sludge, but it contains more particles than sludge; moreover, the solution does not have any lubricating properties. We previously used screw pumps, and we would like to get some guidance – are there any processes suitable for handling such materials, and how should the pump be selected in such a process? Thank you!
Generally, centrifugal pumps are not easy to choose; it’s better to use screw pumps
Installation instructions for the inlet and outlet of screw pumps: Do you know? It’s similar to what’s used in centrifugal pumps – there’s an inlet for discharging fluid and an outlet for releasing air, along with pressure gauges and such

It’s still better to choose a screw pump; the material is very important
If the acid is hydrochloric acid or dilute sulfuric acid, the rotor of the screw pump is prone to corrosion. A hose pump can be considered.
3-5 cubic meters per hour, with a head of 15 meters
