What are the disassembly and assembly steps for a segmented multi-stage centrifugal pump?
First, remove the balance tube and the flushing pipeline. Then disassemble the bearing housings at both ends – the seals and shaft sleeves. Be sure to mark and place small components such as seals and shaft sleeves separately to prevent confusion with other small parts at the inlet and outlet. This is the stage where only the middle shell remains; then 4-6 struts need to be removed – followed by the outlet section, the impeller, the middle section, and finally the impeller. . . . Remove it level by level. It’s basically broken apart.
It involves breaking it down into sections; before doing so, it’s best to label the casing, guide vanes, impeller, etc.
Start disassembling from the inlet side, making marks to avoid confusion, and finally disassemble from the outlet side
