How to apply? How effective is it?
The methods I can think of for liquid-liquid mixing are: 1. stirring inside the tank; 2. pumping for circulation outside the tank. High-shear pumps, such as centrifugal pumps, come into play here. Of course, this approach is only feasible when the viscosity of the material is not too high
In a continuous reaction process, can a high-speed shear pump be used directly as a mixing unit? Of course, a conventional centrifugal pump can also serve as a mixing device. Which one is good?
