There is a vacuum buffer tank with a volume of about 2 cubic meters. When the vacuum pump is operated normally, the pressure can reach _0.098 MPa. However, the process requirements dictate that the vacuum level should be _0.060 MPa. A vacuum control valve is installed on the top of the tank to maintain this vacuum level by drawing in air from the atmosphere. But this control valve generates excessive noise when drawing in air; the diameter of both the control valve and the pipes is DN25. Is there any type of silencer that can be used to reduce this noise?

There should be one; it’s installed on the suction inlet inside the tank. I’ve heard of it, but don’t know much about it
