What is this oil cup-like thing on the high-speed pump?

Install a high-speed pump, a vertical high-speed pump from Beijing Aerospace and Petrochemical Company. What is this red oil cup-like thing and where is it connected? What does it do?
Judging from the photo, is this nozzle the oil or medium machine seal leakage detection port? You can check the pump information.
This is an observation oil cup. The lubricating oil of the speed-increasing gearbox has deteriorated!

I'm not sure if this is correct. This cup is connected to the bottom of the lubricating oil. This cup is the lowest point of the lubricating oil. Once there are impurities, they will be brought to this cup for easy observation to determine the time for maintenance.
How to judge whether lubricating oil has deteriorated? There are no signs of deterioration in the oil collection cup?
The specific exit port at the bottom of the bearing box is still at the mechanical seal. I didn't see it on site. The drawing has a simplified cross-section diagram and does not point out the relevant nozzle.

Is it used to observe the quality of gearbox lubricating oil? Or is it used to determine whether the machine seal is leaking?
It is used for leak detection. If there is lubricating oil inside, the seal of the gear box is broken. If there is material inside, it means the seal of the sealing medium or the second seal is leaking.
