For a vertical self-priming pump, just fill the pump body with liquid before opening the pump. The other aspects are the same as those of ordinary centrifugal pumps. If there is a valve at the inlet, make sure it is fully open.
The sealless self-control self-priming pump operates basically the same as an ordinary centrifugal pump. The only disadvantage is that maintenance is relatively troublesome.
