Use and function of filters and pressure relief valves in vortex high-pressure fans: When positive pressure is present at the outlet, and the gas being drawn in is clean or consists of clean air with a clean working environment, no additional accessories are necessary. However, if the gas contains dust or if there are impurities or foreign objects in the working environment, it is recommended to install a filter cartridge or filter at the inlet (the inlet is equipped with a fine mesh screen at the time of shipment to prevent larger solid particles from entering the fan). Use of the pressure relief valve at the inlet: Principle: With the larger end facing downward and the smaller end upward, it is used as the air inlet. When the pressure exceeds a certain value, the valve opens, allowing a certain amount of air to flow in thereby reducing the pressure at the inlet and preventing overload, excessive current, and overheating, thus protecting the motor. The manufacturer can adjust the opening point of the pressure relief valve before shipping, and it can be installed directly after arrival. Methods for adjustment and use: 1. Install the pressure relief valve, pressure gauge, and valve at the inlet. Slowly close the valve until the desired pressure level is reached, such as 30 Kpa. If the pressure relief valve opens automatically at this point to allow air to flow in, then it has been properly adjusted. 2. If the valve opens before reaching 30 Kpa, or if it doesn’t open even when the pressure exceeds 30 Kpa, the tightness of the internal spring can be adjusted by turning the screw on the pressure relief valve, so that it opens at 30 Kpa. The pressure relief valve can have its opening point adjusted for different pressure levels
