Hello everyone. I worked as a chief operator for chemical processes for about 10 years. Due to the company’s transformation, it now operates as a manufacturer of raw materials used in the production of polyaryletherketone resin particles. As a sales specialist in this company, I would like to ask the experts here: is polyaryletherketone a suitable material for plastic pumps when it comes to material selection for such pumps in industrial applications? Polyarylether nitrile has properties similar to those of PEEK materials, and it also falls under the category of technological achievements being put into practical use. Our company is currently building a facility for the production of polyarylether nitrile with an annual capacity of 1,000 tons.
Are there any data on the performance characteristics of the materials? I need to find out first to see if it’s possible……
The material should be fine. What about the price? Can this material be reinforced by adding carbon fiber or glass fiber?
Since the project is still in the construction phase, trial production is expected to take place in the first quarter. The data available at present can only serve as a reference; after all, it seems that our company is the only one in the world that produces polyarylether nitrile (PEN), aside from university laboratories. Regarding temperature resistance, according to the information provided, there are three grades: 170°C, 240°C, and 300°C+ for the pure resin. The price should be lower than that of PEEK. Yes, it can be enhanced. Our company has planned three phases of projects: Phase 1 involves pure resin, Phase 2 involves modification, and Phase 3 includes other projects.
I took a look at the PEEK material; it seems that the grade also matters. There are ones that weigh 500-1000 or more per kilogram. 1688 also has options of 200, 300 per kilogram.
If the price is too high, it is difficult for ordinary users to accept it
So, products are divided into three levels. :)
Examine the customers to see what their demand for this product is; only when end-users approve of it can equipment manufacturers adopt it on a large scale.
