It depends on the specific pump; sometimes, in order to achieve a lower net positive suction head, pump manufacturers may employ special designs such as adjusting the structure (changing it from horizontal to vertical), redesigning the hydraulic parameters at the expense of efficiency, adjusting the speed, or installing an inducer. Additionally, by choosing appropriate performance parameters for the pump, it becomes possible to achieve a net positive suction head of 0.36 meters.
