What’s the reason there is no pressure at the outlet of the pressure pump?

Bedroom centrifugal fluorine-lined pump with a capacity of 2 cubic meters and a head of 45 meters. Recently, there has often been no pressure on exports. It will work properly only when the pump’s discharge screw is opened. What causes this phenomenon, and how can it be avoided? A small membrane filtration unit requires regular backwashing. The outlet pipe of this pump is DN25, and the inlet is connected to a tank containing liquid.
I don’t understand what the discharge screw of the pump is
Trapped by gas, I guess. Before starting the pump, the pump was not filled with liquid.
Has it been checked whether the inlet pressure is insufficient, which is causing the pump to not operate properly?
Open the pump’s discharge screw? Is it an exhaust vent? Unloading valve? Take a look at the image above.
