This boiler feed water pump, multi-stage pump does not have a steering mark, how to determine the direction of the pump? Heroes, give me some help
This post was last edited by CHANGBAISHI on 2020-6-8 16:00 This is a multi-stage centrifugal pump. You can judge by looking at the inlet and outlet of the pump that it is like a single-stage centrifugal pump, so you might as well give it a try.
Usually, multi-stage centrifugal pumps rotate clockwise when viewed from the power end. If conditions permit, you can jog the pump and observe the relationship between the concave direction of the impeller and the jog steering. It stands to reason that rotation in the direction of the concave surface of the blade is forward rotation.
The most reliable way to check is to jog the disengagement pump on site to confirm the steering. During the original start-up inspection of some of our devices, we found that the pump steering did not meet the requirements, and the method I mentioned was used.
Centrifugal pumps generally rotate along the tangential direction of the outlet. Just check that the tangential line of the outlet is in the same direction as the motor's steering direction.
Read the manual, ask the manufacturer, partially disassemble the impeller, try it out, and check the rotation direction of the cap. Make up marks and equipment ledgers afterwards.
Look at the size of the pipe. The inlet and outlet sizes are not consistent.
Imports are large and exports are small. Steering can be judged by looking at the impeller radian at the outlet.
