What material is used for the ceramic plungers in piston pumps?

It depends on the manufacturer’s configuration; all of these options might be available, with the specific choice depending on the selection made at the time of supply. The ceramic materials used for the accessories of our pumps are mainly silicon carbide, silicon nitride, and alumina; the choice of these materials depends primarily on the medium involved in the operating conditions.
But some manufacturers also use zirconia.
