Why do different manufacturers use neodymium-iron-boron magnets of varying performance when selecting magnets for magnetic pumps?

I have been working in the magnetic materials industry for many years and have dealt with numerous customers who use magnetic pumps. The choice of samarium-cobalt alloy for these pumps is more or less the same across different manufacturers; however, when it comes to neodymium-iron-boron alloys, the performance and temperature characteristics vary from one manufacturer to another. Is this due to the operating conditions of the pumps, or because certain technologies have not been updated? I have encountered many such situations: Yongjia, Jingjiang, and Anhui have different requirements, as do Dandong in Liaoning and Yantai in Shandong – they differ from those in the southern regions. It’s really confusing; sometimes the specifications are similar, yet there are significant differences in performance. Some pumps can operate with N35-grade materials, so why do some require higher-performance materials? It would be useful to learn from each other in this regard
This thing is region-specific; the material and structure of pumps vary from one area to another, and magnetic pumps are even more diverse in their designs. . It also has to do with the supply channels; there are various reasons for this.
In the Jiangsu and Zhejiang regions (Yongjia, Jingjiang), the base price is the dominant factor; the specifications are low, and the pumps are of poor quality； In the Anhui region (Jingxian, Tianchang), the tone is mainly neutral; a balance is struck between configuration and price, with half of each ； In the Shandong and Liaoning regions (Yantai, Dalian), heavy-duty pumps are predominant, and the quality is generally higher. With such a distinction, the configurations certainly can’t be the same. The above are just my personal opinions; please refrain from criticizing if you don’t agree.
Even for the same real estate developer, the standards for finish work vary among their properties in different regions. The principle is the same in all cases.
Your idea is correct, but when it comes to actual implementation, one must take into account the actual situation of the pump manufacturers – who has the final say in making the purchase decision? And what are your payment methods for both parties? Is there an office locally? Is delivery convenient? Can I try it out? Wait, we need to settle all these matters before we can start working together.
