The centrifugal pump in the plant operates with stable vibration during operation. Before the blade broke, there were no fluctuations or adjustments in any parameters; suddenly, the vibration increased and the system stopped operating. The inspection showed that the blade was broken, with no wear on the front or back. Subsequently, tests such as tensile tests were conducted on the impeller material, and it was found to meet the requirements. Have you all encountered similar situations? Reason for maintenance: It may be due to the long service life of the impeller, which already has minor cracks; over time, these cracks expand, eventually leading to the breakage of the blades. It is recommended to regularly inspect and replace the impeller. 4. Reason for operation failure: It may be due to external impacts or overload on the impeller during operation, exceeding its tolerance limits. It is recommended to set reasonable operating parameters to avoid overload or external impacts.
