May I ask, in skeleton oil seals, are T and S in TC/TB/SC English abbreviations or something else? (Do you know what oil seal structure TC/TB refers to? That is, why are T and S used to represent it – does it have any special meaning?) ）
S stands for single-lip spring, while T stands for double-lip spring.
Thank you! That’s why S and T are used to represent them – why not X and H? Generally, the designations for fittings and flanges are English abbreviations; does this also apply to skeleton oil seals?
The oil seal standards in our country are the national standard GB9877.2008 series, as well as GB13871 – the oil seal standards. HG4-692-67 is an oil seal standard proposed by China’s Ministry of Chemical Industry. The TC and TB series codes you mentioned are likely those of the Japanese company NOK; GB 13871 does not use such codes. There are a total of six codes, including FB and others.
