I’ve never seen this type of pump before; it’s really eye-opening.
Haven’t seen it. However, it’s not difficult to figure out the principle – just look up the pump’s manual, consult the manufacturer, and since it appears to be an older model, you can also get information by asking the technical staff at your workplace. I can’t tell what type of pump it is; it would be best to send a photo of the appearance of these two holes, so as to see if they are two adjustment screws, for reference.
