Why do the cross-sectional diameters of O-rings used in many pumps differ from the standards?

As the title suggests, the O-rings used in the pump are said to be manufactured in accordance with the GBT3452.1 standard, but their size is 65*2.5; however, the standard specifies only sizes of 65*2.65 and 65*1.80. Is it possible that the standard was merely referenced, while the actual dimensions do not conform to it?
There are too many standards: common ones include Chinese standards, American standards, Japanese standards, and European standards.
Neither the new nor the old national standards specify a 2.5 mm wire diameter, and neither do the standards of several developed countries around the world.
