I’m looking for a more official testing standard for metering pumps – a measurement method that can be accepted by owners and customers
I found the API675 standard online, but it doesn’t contain details regarding the testing procedures. Is this standard’s testing method the same as that of national standards?
The testing standards for metering pumps in China are issued by relevant industry associations, the Standardization Administration Committee, and other organizations. The specific standard documents are titled \"GB/T 18866-2002 Grades of Metering Pumps\" and \"JB/T 6444-2006 Magnetically Driven Metering Pumps\". These two standards specify in detail the testing methods for metering pumps, and are generally accepted by owners and customers. However, specific requirements will still depend on other relevant regulations that may apply in your region and industry. If you are abroad, you should also check the corresponding international or regional standards, such as API 675 from the American Petroleum Institute, or the relevant standards from the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). It is recommended that you consult professional metering pump manufacturers, standardization organizations, certification bodies, etc. for more specific information based on your specific requirements and circumstances. .
