On April 18, it was learned from Tianjin Kuaiturbine Technology Development Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as Tianjin Kuaiturbine) that the two low-temperature methanol wash exhaust CO2 generator sets produced by this company for Jiangxi Xinlianxin Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as Jiangxi Xinlianxin) have completed their A-level inspections and are now ready for shipment. Xinlianxin Group is a leader in terms of energy efficiency in China’s synthetic ammonia industry. Its leadership in various indicators is directly related to the group’s emphasis on energy conservation and carbon reduction. Jiangxi Xinlianxin Company pays special attention to energy conservation and carbon reduction in its second phase of operations, focusing on the recovery and utilization of various forms of waste heat and pressure. According to the project manager, the waste pressure from CO2 exhaust gases, ORC waste heat, and hydraulic turbines can generate 4,000 KW of electricity per hour; among these, the generator set powered by the waste pressure from low-temperature methanol washing CO2 exhaust gases can produce over 3,000 KW of electricity. According to Wang Xiaoyu, general manager of Tianjin Fast Turbine Company, the CO₂ pressure difference generator set for treating waste gas from the low-temperature methanol washing process in the first phase of Jiangxi Xinlianxin Company is the first such generator set of its kind in China, developed independently by Tianjin Fast Turbine Company. This unit employs a high-speed, high-load, high-regulation-ratio runoff turbine driven by a prime mover that is customized based on resource parameters, comes in a modular design, and operates without human intervention; it fills a gap in China’s market. It has been operating safely and stably for 30 months, generating nearly 10 million in economic benefits alone, while also producing an equivalent amount of cooling energy. Therefore, in the second-phase project of this company, where two sets of CO₂ exhaust pressure generator sets were up for bid along with one set for the Zhundong project, and multiple companies participated in the bidding process, Tianjin Kuaite Turbine Company still won the contract thanks to its superior technology. On April 11, a team of six from Xinlianxin Group conducted Pre-shipment Inspection A on the two sets of turbines. They gave high praise to Tianjin Kuaituipai Company’s technical capabilities, product quality, equipment standards, as well as the dedicated and meticulous attitude of its technical staff, and the inspection was completed successfully. Wang Xiaoyu explained that the two sets of turbines are of two types: one with high pressure of 0.67 MPa, a turbine diameter of 580, an installed capacity of 1600 KW, and a net power generation capacity of 1280 KW; and the other with low pressure of 0.24 MPa, a turbine diameter of 1100, an installed capacity of 2000 KW, and a net power generation capacity of 1750 KW. Both types represent innovations of their kind in China. Wang Xiaoyu said that at present, Tianjin Fast Turbine Company has more than a dozen units in operation or under production. Providing top-notch technologies and products to help the coal chemical industry reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions remains the constant goal of Tianjin Fast Turbine Company.
