Welcome everyone to share, discuss, and exchange, cheer for Made in China, and cheer for chemical equipment! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * On July 2, 2020, the largest domestic ethylene cold box device with a total weight of 592 tons, developed by Hangyang, set sail for the Lianyungang Petrochemical Co., Ltd. project base. This is also the first ultra-large integrated cold box for ethane dehydrogenation to ethylene in China. The ethylene cold box shipped this time contains 31 core equipment, and its size and tonnage are larger than the 1.8 million tons/year ethylene cold box previously exported to the United States by Hangyang. Of course, design, calculation, manufacturing, and assembly are more difficult. Hangyang has made great breakthroughs in the design, manufacturing, and assembly of this project. It integrated the originally required five cold boxes into one cold box, improving performance by 15% and saving users more than 20% of investment.

According to news on April 7, 2017, the 1 million cubic meters/day LNG cold box supplied by Sichuan Air Separation Equipment (Group) Co., Ltd. to the Ansai 200,000 tons/year liquefied natural gas (LNG) project of Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum and Natural Gas Co., Ltd. was successfully shipped from Zhejiang Dachuan Factory at the end of March. The outer dimensions of the cold box of this project are 24700×6200×4200mm, the weight is about 140T, and it is transported by road. It is understood that the project is located in Ansai County, Yan'an City. The main equipment includes 7 areas including deacidification area, dehydration area, mercury removal area, liquefaction cold box area, refrigerant storage area, BOG recovery area and refrigerant compression area, as well as plant system engineering and auxiliary facility engineering.
At the end of November 2018, Dushanzi Petrochemical Company's light hydrocarbon refining and ethylene optimization and adjustment project was approved by PetroChina. Once completed, it will lay a solid foundation for the company to optimize ethylene raw materials, increase production of high-efficiency products, and improve economic benefits and market competitiveness. The chemical part of the project mainly involves the adaptive transformation of the million-ton ethylene plant and the construction of a new No. 9 cracking furnace with an annual output of 150,000 tons of ethylene. As the key core equipment of the ethylene plant, the cold box has a precise structure, is difficult to manufacture, and is expensive. In order to meet the equipment production needs after the new project, the company purchased cracking cold boxes from Hangzhou, Zhejiang. The construction of the new No. 9 cracking furnace must be started simultaneously with the overhaul. Whether the cracking cold box can arrive as scheduled is related to the overall progress of the company's maintenance.
