It also realized container loading and unloading and methanol fuel bunkering at the same time. This is the first time that Shanghai Port and the first time a Chinese port has carried out green methanol fuel "ship-to-ship" simultaneous filling operations for large-scale methanol fuel-powered container ships on international voyages. The "Astrid Maersk" fueled with green methanol fuel this time is the second of the 18 large-scale methanol-powered container ships ordered by Maersk. It has a total length of 350.59 meters, a width of 53.5 meters, a depth of 33.2 meters, and a container loading capacity of 16,592 TEUs. The ship is equipped with a dual-fuel engine and can sail using green methanol and traditional marine fuel. Running on green methanol can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 280 tons per day compared with similar ships sailing on heavy oil.
It still looks good, haha
