Recently, the Shaanxi Coal Yulin Chemical polypropylene project successfully completed the lifting of the first component of the polymerization framework for Unit 2. The total installation height of the polymerization framework is 65 m; as the most challenging part to install in the plant area, multiple reaction units are located on the steel structure platform, which poses significant challenges to the construction of the steel structure. Through careful planning, the project team innovatively adopted modular steel structure installation techniques, enabling the simultaneous lifting of the structure and equipment. This approach effectively addressed the challenges associated with working at heights, significantly reducing the intensity of work at those heights and enhancing both the safety and efficiency of construction. It allowed for meeting the project deadlines while also achieving cost savings and improved productivity.
