On the morning of January 15, the first piece of equipment for the Fujian Gulei aniline-rubber additive industry chain project – the ammonia synthesis tower – was successfully lifted into place. This achievement by Sinopec Nanjing Engineering Company, which is responsible for the EPC contract for this project, lays a solid foundation for the subsequent construction phases. One of the key pieces of equipment in this project, the ammonia synthesis tower is 18.55 meters long and has an outer diameter of 1.7 meters; its net weight is 97 tons, which is equivalent to the weight of four J-20 fighter jets. With the assistance of a 600-ton main crane and a 300-ton truck crane, it was possible to position the structure in just one lift after 20 minutes. One success! They are primarily used in areas such as aircraft, commercial vehicles, and passenger car tires. With the rapid development of rubber products in our country, the rubber additive industry has also continued to grow, leading to a rising demand for aniline.
