Recently, Sichuan Wei Chemical’s 60,000-ton/year VAE (vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer emulsion) capacity expansion project completed its first feeding trial successfully, producing qualified products. With this, Chuanwei Chemical’s VAE production capacity has reached 180,000 tons per year, making it the manufacturer in China with the widest range of VAE products. This further strengthens Chuanwei Chemical’s position as the leader in the domestic market, and helps to push VAE-based green fine chemical products to the forefront in China. VAE is a high-performance, environmentally friendly water-based emulsion that is widely used in industries such as construction, real estate, furniture, and packaging; it represents a type of refined product with high added value. As one of the earliest companies in China to produce VAE products, Chuanwei Chemical was the first entity to draft the standards for such products. It is also a company that has received certifications for both green products and environment-label products.
