Recently, significant milestones were achieved in the construction of the 30,000-cubic-meter low-temperature storage tank for the Blue Sea New Materials project, marking progress in the tank’s construction and laying a solid foundation for the subsequent overall development of the project. The tank roof was lifted with precision; an innovative process ensured safety and efficiency. At 2 p.m. on November 12, the 30,000-cubic-meter low-temperature storage tank for the Blue Sea New Materials project, constructed by the company, entered a critical phase: the lifting of its roof. With precise control, the 400-ton tank roof was successfully lifted in the first phase at 2:30 p.m., reaching the target height of 1.048 meters; the entire process took 30 minutes. This lifting operation employed an innovative \"off-tank structural jacking\" approach, with 30 30-ton electric hoists working simultaneously at 16 lifting sites. This process not only enables the complete installation of the lifting system in one go, but also effectively avoids the risks associated with working at heights, thereby significantly improving construction efficiency. The installation of the outer tank wall panels began, with proven techniques facilitating steady progress; following the successful lifting of the tank roof, on November 13th, the installation work on the outer tank wall panels of this low-temperature storage tank was also officially launched. The outer tank wall plates of the storage tank are divided into 11 zones, and the mature \"upside-down construction method\" is employed. The wall panels installed at the top section are composed of 12 S30408 stainless steel plates, with each plate having a length of 11,393 millimeters, a width of 2,370 millimeters, and a thickness of 18 millimeters. The smooth progress of this process has created favorable conditions for the subsequent sealing of the tank and the construction of the inner tank. The successful completion of consecutive key milestones not only demonstrates the efficient collaborative capabilities of the project management team and the construction team, but also further verifies the scientific validity and feasibility of the construction plan. As the tank structure takes shape gradually, the construction of the low-temperature storage tanks for the Blue Sea New Materials project is making steady progress toward high-quality construction and high-standard delivery.
