On July 11, Jiangxi Yijin New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Yijin New Energy”) and Yichun Yuanzhou Industrial Park held a signing ceremony for the second-phase project in the Pharmaceutical Industry Park of Yuanzhou District, marking the official launch of Yijin New Energy’s project to produce 2,000 tons per year of new-type silicon-carbon anodes for lithium batteries. It is understood that this second-phase project covers an area of 52 mu, and its aim is to establish a leading production base for new types of silicon-carbon anodes used in lithium batteries in the industry. Once the project is completed and put into operation, it will produce 2,000 tons per year of new silicon-carbon anode materials for lithium batteries. This product boasts outstanding advantages such as a high specific capacity and excellent cycle stability, which can significantly enhance the overall performance of lithium batteries. It meets the growing demand for high-performance lithium-ion battery materials in areas such as new energy vehicles, 3C consumer electronics, and electric aircraft. At the same time, the implementation of this project will further refine the company’s industrial layout and enhance its core competitiveness in the lithium battery materials market.
