On November 7th, local time, Thirteen Chemical Construction, a subsidiary of China National Chemical Corporation, officially signed a contract for a biofuel project with Sepsa Sant Roc Bioenergy in Spain. This marks an important breakthrough for the company in the European market and is a milestone achievement. He Suhua, the company’s deputy general manager, was invited to attend the signing ceremony to witness this important moment together with representatives from all parties involved. It is reported that the project is located in the province of Huelva, in Spain’s Andalusia region. It was jointly funded by the Spanish company Moeve and Apical Group, which is part of Singapore’s Golden Eagle Group. The total investment amount is 1.2 billion euros, making it one of the largest and most technologically advanced biomass fuel plants in Spain this year. The project uses waste animal and vegetable oils as raw materials to produce renewable fuels, thereby providing low-carbon energy solutions for the aviation, shipping, and transportation industries. The project is highly in line with the global trend toward green transformation and the EU’s sustainable development strategy, serving as a model in terms of low-carbon energy use, industrial upgrading, and international cooperation. This project is another ongoing project that the company has secured by leveraging its presence in the European market, using completed projects as a means to attract new business. Since winning the bid on September 17 this year, the entire company has worked together efficiently to advance various preliminary preparations, laying a solid foundation for the smooth progress of the project.
