On December 30, 2025, the Blue Sea New Materials project, undertaken by the Beijing branch of Global Engineering Company under CNPC Engineering, reached an important construction milestone: the overall lifting operation of the roof truss of Warehouse No. 1 was successfully completed. This marked the official completion of the main structure of the warehouse, laying a solid foundation for subsequent construction work. Warehouse No. 1 covers an area of 14,485 square meters, has a building height of 40.75 meters, a maximum span of 40.25 meters, and the total weight of the roof truss for a single span exceeds 400 tons. To ensure safe and efficient lifting operations, the project team installed 16 sets of hydraulic lifting systems at the top of the columns. By leveraging intelligent coordinated control technology, the entire grid was lifted smoothly and synchronously to the designed elevation of 37.55 meters, achieving accurate positioning in just one lift. The project is located in a coastal area with strong winds throughout the year. Additionally, the height of the warehouse building exceeds 40 meters. If traditional methods of casting concrete columns on-site and assembling the grid structure from separate components at high heights are used, not only will the construction period be long and the efficiency low, but there will also be frequent construction activities related to the fire sprinkler systems, siphon rainwater systems, lighting facilities, and fire protection measures located at the top of the building. The risks associated with working at heights and carrying out concurrent construction tasks are significant, making it difficult to ensure true safety. To address the aforementioned challenges, the project team integrated design, procurement, and construction from the early planning stage, conducted thorough comparisons of various options and assessments of technical feasibility, and proposed an integrated construction approach that combines \"pre-fabrication and lifting of concrete columns as a whole + deep modularization of steel trusses + simultaneous hydraulic lifting.\" Based on the core concepts of \"factory prefabrication, modular assembly, and ground-based operations,\" this approach minimizes the need for work at heights by carrying out many of the installation tasks on the ground, thereby significantly reducing safety risks. Faced with the technical complexity and implementation uncertainties brought about by the new process, the project team tackled these challenges head-on, organized the construction work in a scientific manner, and successfully completed all construction tasks. By utilizing mechanical lifting and jacking methods, they managed to achieve the goal of having the lights turned on once the structure was lifted.
