Recently, Zhongli Company’s 1 million tons per year delayed coking closed-system coke removal waste gas treatment project successfully passed the mechanical completion inspection. As the first closed-loop remote coking removal system for waste gas treatment within the refining and chemical processing system, this project represents a shift from traditional manual operations to intelligent control. Once put into operation, it can effectively address the issue of treating waste gases generated during the coking process, thereby contributing to the company’s sustainable green development. The acceptance expert group for this occasion is composed of technical personnel from fields such as production, instrumentation, electrical engineering, and environmental protection. The expert group listened to reports from the project design unit, construction unit, and supervision unit regarding the completion status of the project and the progress of rectification efforts under the \"three inspections and four determinations\" framework. It also conducted on-site inspections of the physical structure of the project and reviewed the documents related to its completion. After consideration, the expert group unanimously agreed that the project passed the completion acceptance. It is reported that the 1 million tons per year delayed coking closed coke removal waste gas treatment project mainly includes the construction of new closed coke ovens, a waste gas treatment system, a coke loading system, steel structures for utility tunnels, as well as auxiliary facilities such as water supply and drainage systems and roads throughout the site. The project was completed in 218 days. Overcoming challenges such as tight deadlines, heavy workload, and complex environmental factors, the project team finished the mechanical completion inspection 13 days ahead of schedule, achieving the excellent result of zero safety accidents.
