Bengbu Xinghe Straw Biotechnology’s 120,000 tons per year project for the co-production of straw sugar and plant-derived fulvic acid

The 120,000 tons per year straw sugar production and plant-derived fulvic acid production project carried out by Bengbu Xinghe Straw Biotechnology is located west of Jing Si Road in the Economic Development Zone of Guzhen County, Bengbu City, Anhui Province. It was invested and constructed by Bengbu Xinghe Straw Biotechnology Co., Ltd. The project uses non-grain biomasses such as straw as raw materials, and through processes including pretreatment, enzymatic hydrolysis, refined extraction, and concentration, it produces straw mixed sugar, while also generating high-value products such as plant-derived fulvic acid, lignin, and organic microbial fertilizers. Once the project is completed and put into operation, it will have the capacity to produce 120,000 tons per year of straw-based mixed sugar, as well as high-value products such as plant-derived fulvic acid, lignin, and organic microbial fertilizers. The total investment for the project is 880 million yuan.
