On March 21, the construction of Yihua Group’s project for producing 1 million tons per year of phosphorus-fluorine new materials and related facilities, with a total investment of 13.6 billion yuan, commenced. It is understood that the projects set to commence this time include those for producing 500,000 tons per year of iron phosphate, 400,000 tons per year of high-purity phosphorus chemicals, 100,000 tons per year of fluorine-based new materials, as well as a pilot plant for the comprehensive utilization of chlorine resources and carbon dioxide, as well as for the development of new chemical materials. Once all these projects are in operation, Yihua Group will be able to produce a range of new products such as iron phosphate, lithium hexafluorophosphate, and electronic-grade phosphoric acid, which will find wide applications in key sectors such as aerospace, semiconductor chips, and new energy batteries.
