On April 8, the green hydrogen-based ammonia synthesis and urea production project in Jiuyuan, Baotou, was approved for registration. Project owner: Nanjing Tianjia Energy Technology Co., Ltd. Location of construction: Jiuyuan District, Baotou City – Jiuyuan Industrial Park, Inner Mongolia, Baotou. Total investment: 453 million yuan, of which 90.6 million yuan comes from own funds, 362.4 million yuan is to be obtained through bank loans, and 0 million yuan from other sources. Planned start and completion dates: December 2026 to September 2028. Scale and scope of the project: With a total investment of 453 million yuan, the project will cover an area of approximately 100 mu, of which the production facilities are expected to occupy around 80 mu. Construction contents: include a 100,000-ton/year ammonia synthesis plant, liquid ammonia storage tanks, a 175,000-ton/year urea synthesis plant, a CCUS facility, an office building, and auxiliary facilities.
