The chlor-alkali project in Jujuy, Argentina, undertaken by China National Chemical Corporation’s Tiantian Company, has received its completion certificate as well as a letter of appreciation from the project owner. On that day, the project was successfully commissioned for the first time, producing qualified products and thus obtaining the completion certificate. This project is Argentina’s first chemical project invested in and designed by a Chinese company, fully utilizing Chinese standards and technology. This project utilizes advanced domestic ion-exchange membrane electrolysis technology, with all core process equipment based on Chinese technology and standards. It represents a significant breakthrough of the “T+EPC” innovation model in the South American market, successfully facilitating the spread of Chinese standards, technology, and equipment abroad. During the construction period, Tianchen Company made full use of its extensive experience and expertise in managing overseas projects, working together with the owner’s team to overcome the challenges related to managing local construction subcontractors in South America, thus laying a solid foundation for the successful completion of the project. Once completed, the project will help enhance the capabilities of Argentina’s chemical industry, overcome the bottlenecks in the development of lithium mining resources, create employment opportunities in the region, and inject new momentum into its economic and social development. Tianchen entered the Argentine market in 2022. From the outset of the project, it worked hand in hand with the client, evolving from a project contractor to a partner in project development and a key supporting force. It was involved in all the preliminary stages such as project feasibility studies, site selection, and environmental impact assessments, thereby ensuring steady progress in project construction and ultimately contributing to the successful implementation of the project. Upon the completion of the project, the company received a letter of thanks from the client right away. As the first project completed by Tianchen Company in the South American region, it represents a practical implementation of the concept of \"three key platforms and one prestigious brand,\" and it is also a typical example of the \"T+EPC\" innovative model in this region.
