I am not very familiar with cartridge pumps; I only know that they belong to the category of submersible centrifugal pumps, and have advantages such as good heat insulation, low susceptibility to cavitation, high flow rates, and high head pressure; But in actual operation, what are the steps for filling the cartridge pump for the first time? For on-site installation, there is a DN25 drain line between the inlet and outlet valves of the pump, and an additional DN50 line outside these valves. Which line is used to fill the pump? What are the other precautions to take when operating this pump? Please ask the experts for advice!
The answer on the 5th floor is indeed the correct one. I used to work at the ITT pump factory, where I was responsible for pump production and after-sales maintenance services. As far as I know, for pumps used in processes such as those involving ethylene, propylene, and LNG, American ITT’s Goulds vertical multi-stage cartridge pumps are mostly employed; these pumps, along with their mechanical seals, operate very stably.
