After the implementation of the new catalog, does a 0.5Mpa DN80 oxygen pipeline still qualify as a pressure pipeline? Oxygen is considered a Class B gas, but the new catalog classifies it as a non-toxic, non-flammable gas; those with pressures below 150 are not considered such pipelines. Since oxygen is not flammable but rather serves to assist combustion, should it be classified as GC2 or not? I recall that previous discussions mentioned that the appendix to 50316 states that oxygen pipelines should be tested as Category C fluids, but that is only a testing requirement; it does not specify how oxygen pipelines should be classified. Has anyone encountered such a problem when submitting applications for oxygen pipelines?
There is another question: in the **chemicals catalog, oxidizing gases are classified as Category 1. What does this Category 1 mean? Does it refer to the first category of explosive substances?
Is an oxidizer considered flammable? This is a focal point.

If the fire hazard is classified as Category B, how can it still be considered non-flammable? Although it only serves to assist combustion, it is treated as a Class B flammable medium. It cannot be ignored.

In response to the \"Notice from the General Office of the Quality Inspection Administration on Issues Related to the Safety Supervision of Pressure Pipelines and Cylinders (Quality Inspection Office Special [2015] No. 675)\", the non-toxic, non-flammable, and non-corrosive gases referred to in the definition of pressure pipelines in the new \"Catalogue\" – namely, pipelines with a nominal diameter of less than 150 mm and a maximum working pressure of less than 1.6 MPa (gauge pressure) for transporting such gases – do not include liquefied gases, steam, and oxygen. So oxygen pipelines still require approval.
I’ve never encountered this before; oxygen acts as a fuel accelerant. Is there any clear explanation in the relevant manuals? You might want to take a look
