Old greenhouse films should not be installed when the temperature is too high, as they expand due to heat; when the temperature drops, the films contract, which can lead to tearing and damage. Once a rupture occurs, it must be repaired using special repair tape. Before opening the film roll, check the condition of the ground at the work site to prevent objects from puncturing or scratching the film. Do not walk on the film, nor should assembly tools or other objects be placed on it to prevent it from being damaged. It is particularly important to note that direct contact between the film and the greenhouse components should be avoided as much as possible. If this cannot be avoided, white vinyl acetate should be applied to the connection area; mixed organic solvents should not be used. At the same time, prevent direct contact between the crops and equipment such as irrigation and heating pipelines with the film. To ensure that used greenhouse films can perform their functions effectively, the following points should be observed during their installation and use: Used greenhouse films must be stored in a shaded and dry place before being installed and used, and should not be exposed to sunlight or rain. The iron and metal wires in the greenhouse structure should be properly plated; dirty and rusty components must not be used. 　 At the same time, exposed metal wires and sharp corners should be avoided to prevent them from tearing the old greenhouse film. During installation, the old plastic film of the greenhouse must be stretched tight and smoothed out. If installed improperly, it will not only significantly reduce its service life but also fail to fulfill its intended functions. Never put the used greenhouse film on backwards, otherwise it will not function properly. Many used greenhouse films are marked with the words “This side up,” meaning that when standing outside the greenhouse, these words can be read on the front side. 　 When in use, do not burn vegetable residues, gasoline, or similar materials either outside or inside the greenhouse, as the combustion products will damage the film. Try to limit the use of pesticides and herbicides, and control the concentration of hydrogen sulfide mixtures. When using pesticides on plants, be careful to prevent them from spraying onto the film.
