Steam at 7BAR costs 70 yuan per ton ; But one ton of steam can generate 50 KW of electricity ; Which one is better? Where are you from, OP? Is steam only 70 yuan per ton? Give it away for free. Modern heat pump technology relies on the difference between the cost of steam and the cost of electricity (currently, the cost of steam here is 180 yuan per ton, while the electricity cost is 0.9 yuan per kWh)
The ultimate vacuum levels that can be achieved by the two are also different, and the steam from a steam ejector pump is not necessarily rendered useless once it has been exhausted – its latent heat remains.
There is also the issue of efficiency when converting steam into electricity. It’s more economical to use steam after all

A steam jet pump generally needs to be connected in series with a water ring vacuum pump in order to operate; I’ve never seen one used on its own
