At the elevator entrances on each floor from the first to the tenth, there is a diamond, with varying sizes. You take the elevator from the first floor to the tenth floor; the elevator doors open once at each floor, allowing you to pick up only one diamond, and the elevator travels only once. Ask how to get the largest one? You can take 1 diamond, rather than having only one chance to get one; so take that diamond on the first floor, then compare it as you go up each floor, and if the diamond on a higher floor is larger, replace it, thus ensuring that you end up with the largest one.

You didn’t say whether it’s possible to replace it – how many times has the elevator been used?
Just get the larger one by replacing the smaller one; that way you’ll be sure to have the biggest one in your possession
