I’ve been pondering one question: the sons of merchants remain merchants, the children of outstanding people tend to be outstanding as well, and those from families with a broad vision also exhibit a sense of grandeur. Setting aside factors such as confidence and social resources, it is one’s way of thinking, courage, and determination that determine the differences between people. Those who only do their assigned tasks, according to Peter’s Principle, have a promotion quotient (PQ) of zero.
A dragon gives birth to dragons, a phoenix gives birth to phoenices; a mouse’s offspring knows how to dig holes~
Three-tenths is determined by fate, seven-tenths by effort; only those who strive will succeed~
In fact, for truly top-tier research labs, talent is what really matters; once a certain level of effort has been put in, whether one can go further depends on having that innate talent. Of course, it cannot be denied that family influence and the environmental surroundings play a role in this process; such an atmosphere may merely serve as a ticket to get started.
