A home powerline adapter is also a type of wireless router; it receives signals from the external network via twisted pair cables and emits WIFI signals wirelessly. The difference lies in the use of bridging. Bringing together ordinary routers is done using twisted pair cables or wireless signals, while bridging powerline adapters relies on the 220V household electricity carrier. Using a powerline adapter by itself is pointless; it’s no different from a small router.
In general, it’s not possible to bypass circuit breakers; not to mention across different floors – even in home use, one should make sure that the high-voltage wiring is under a single circuit breaker.
It seems to be usable only within a power grid under one meter

It saves on wiring the partition walls, but the actual performance is generally not as good as that of a router
