Does anyone know any companies that deal with the reuse of domestic wastewater for household use?
What is the volume of water to be treated, and what standards must be met after treatment?
About one cubic meter per day, to be used for landscaping
The cost of treating 1 cubic meter of water per day is not economical; even if tap water costs only 4 yuan per ton, the depreciation costs associated with the equipment needed for reusing wastewater are much higher than that. It is only economically viable to have centralized treatment in the community

It’s basically based on the principle of laboratory water purifiers; the Institute of Urban Environment under the Chinese Academy of Sciences has one such system, designed to handle both domestic wastewater and wastewater from pig farming.

But what’s the point of reusing it anyway? It’s not cost-effective to use it for watering plants or vegetables. It seems that filtration and sedimentation are sufficient.
