I’m seeking advice from the experts. I really don’t understand why, for the regeneration of reforming catalysts, only Uop in the United States and IFP in France are available globally at present. Couldn’t high and low continuous regenerators for catalytic cracking, or those of the coaxial type, be slightly modified and applied to reforming reaction equipment? I seek advice from the experts to resolve my doubts.

Currently, the complete set of process technologies for catalyst reformer regeneration and similar applications is not limited to Uop in the United States and IFP in France. We have Sinopec’s domestic technology, as well as two patented technologies for domestic continuous reforming: one involves normal catalyst regeneration, and the other involves catalyst regeneration in a counterflow bed.
The unit I’m using is a domestically produced ultra-low pressure continuous reformer; the catalyst used is also domestic PS-VI type, and it operates very well – in some aspects, it even performs better than UOP’s units.
If there are any questions, we can discuss them together! ! ! ! !

We are also using the domestically developed ultra-low pressure continuous reforming technology designed by Luoyang Petrochemical, which performs well and ensures stable production.
The catalysts are different; the reforming catalyst particles are large, so there’s no need to waste energy on fluidizing them. Moreover, their activity is very high. Besides those from UOP and Axens, there’s also a system developed by Jinling Research
There must be others as well; it’s just that these two processes are relatively more mature, and in practice there are numerous construction projects
Sinopec Luoyang Engineering Co., Ltd. also possesses continuous reforming technology; it seems that Dongming Petrochemical was the first local refinery to use this technology.
