I graduated from a university within the province and have worked in a chemical plant for three years. My contract has expired, and because I find the work pace too fast, I want to change jobs. I’ve submitted many resumes; I’m interested in working at equipment factories or machinery factories, but I haven’t received any responses. Environmental-related positions, such as those involving environmental assessment or safety evaluation, would also be fine, but again, no replies. Is there anyone in this industry who can give me some advice? Do you guys not hire new employees anymore? I have a degree in Chemical Engineering and Technology, and my current job is exactly related to my field of study: working on projects, debugging new equipment, and carrying out technological upgrades in existing production facilities
If the other company is short of staff, you can choose any position you want. If the company hiring doesn’t lack staff, going for an interview is done as part of building a talent pool, and they may not hire you after all.
The situation isn’t good this year; don’t change jobs lightly. Even if you can take on a job related to safety assessment or environmental evaluation, the salary will be quite unsatisfactory

What an enviable job! I used to do a similar job too, but now I’m out of work. One should cherish any job one has; it’s extremely difficult to find work these days.

Working hours should be a bit shorter, and it’s not good to change jobs frequently either. Changing jobs because of the fast pace at work is a bit of a strange reason; usually, young people who have just graduated are full of enthusiasm
Looking for a job? You can check the job search sections within your region, and you should also take a look at the job boards in your area – they probably have options as well!
For project implementation, debugging new equipment and upgrading the process technologies in old workshops – how fast can it be done? There are likely more companies cutting jobs than those hiring. If you really want to change jobs, keep applying for positions – but the prospects don’t seem good!
