For the large-diameter steel pipe flanges specified in HG/T20623-2009, there are two size series: A and B. When should Series A be used and when should Series B be used? What are your opinions and experiences on this?
Although it is a large-diameter flange that is mostly used as a pipe flange for connecting external pipes, this is generally related to process requirements.
There isn’t much difference between A\B, it’s just a user habit issue!
It depends on whether you’re using Series A or Series B pipes
It can also be said that, in fact, during the calculation process, the inner diameter is determined first and then the outer diameter; as long as the requirements of the manufacturing process are met, that’s sufficient – the decision is mainly based on those process requirements
