1. Severe directional blasting in the basement is most likely caused by a leak in the brick gas ducts. 2、There is obvious backflow at the exhaust valve. 3、The heat exchange capacity of the regenerator is poor, and the suction force at the top of the regenerator is unstable

Leaks and blockages in the brick gas channels will severely affect the heating of the coke oven. Leaks in brick gas ducts are mostly caused by insufficient mortar during construction, cracking due to fluctuations in furnace temperature during heating, and detonations that occur during production when the direction of gas flow is changed. If long-term leaks are not addressed, not only will it be impossible to raise the temperature in the gas channels, but combustion may also occur within these channels as a result of the contact between gas and air that leaks in. This leads to the sintering of the clay mixture and bricks, forming lumps that block the gas channels. Additionally, the gas channels can become blocked by graphite, which is formed by the pyrolysis of coke oven gas at high temperatures due to inadequate carbon removal.
At present, there is no simple and quick method to quickly determine leaks in brick gas ducts; the elimination method is generally used.
