The flow meter is inaccurate; the instrument needs to be repaired or replaced. Otherwise, it’s impossible to control the amount of material mixed in. Isn’t it required to use hot feed now? This saves energy. Another key point is to ensure that the alkaline nitrogen content in coker wax oil does not exceed 1000, otherwise the catalyst will be affected.
At least one buffer tank with a volume six times that of the coker wax oil collection tank must be installed in the catalytic unit.

As for the amount to be blended, it needs to be determined based on the design of your facility and your company’s production and operation plans. Regarding the inaccurate flow meters, it would be best if you installed mass flow meters.

In our facility, the coking wax oil is supplied directly to the heavy catalytic reformer; control is achieved through regulating valves installed both in the feed line to the reformer unit and in the pipelines for storing and transporting the material

What is the delivery temperature of coker wax oil? Isn’t it rather pointless to just provide direct supply without heat supply?
