Does toluene carbonize under high-temperature, anaerobic conditions?

May I ask whether toluene undergoes carbonization or similar pyrolytic reactions under high-temperature (around 1000°C) and anaerobic conditions? Thank you! ! ! !
As long as the temperature is high enough, the carbonization of organic matter is entirely possible.
