What are the side filtration and automatic water replenishment systems associated with closed-loop cooling towers, and how do they work?
Sidewashing means that a part of the auxiliary circuit is used for filtering, while automatic water replenishment works similar to that in a toilet – water is added when the level is low, and supply stops once it’s full.
Sidewash filtration uses quartz sand, along with principles such as siphoning, to filter part of the return water in order to reduce turbidity. . .
So is it partial side filtration, or does it need to filter all the water in the tank? What’s the volume and so on?
